Lightbox screens every night during the festival and is designed to be taken in short bursts throughout Fringeworld, encouraging multiple short visits as you take in the festival.
Lightbox exhibits are displayed on the City of Perth Northbridge Piazza Superscreen, a large outdoor urban arts screen, which is situated in the Piazza—an inner-city urban green space at the corner of James Street and Lake Streets in Northbridge.
The Northbridge Piazza is just a street away from both The Pleasure Garden and L’Euro Grande.
As the Piazza is located in the central Northbridge entertainment district, it is most bustling on Friday and Saturday nights and much quieter on Monday and Tuesday nights.
Lightbox is an informal screening. The Northbridge Piazza Superscreen offers both formal and informal screenings. Formal screenings, such as the feature film seasons, are seated with limited bean bag seating provided. Informal screenings are unstructured and casual, offering unseated lawn screenings where you can find a spot on the Piazza lawns, enjoy the shade of the Piazza umbrellas, savor Northbridge's famous food offerings, or simply take a leisurely stroll along James Street for your cultural fix.
